"Love" is a neon animation that combines visual and sound elements, depicting the transformation of the Chinese character for "love" between its traditional and simplified forms. Accompanied by an electric pulse resembling a heartbeat, a flickering heart appears at the center of the character. In the traditional form, "愛" (ai), the "heart" at its center symbolizes the essence of emotion, reflecting the belief that love must be felt with the heart. However, in the simplified form "爱" (ai), the "heart" is omitted. Does this simplification strip away some of the deeper meaning of love itself?
